📷 Photos & Videos — no downloading without permission

• Photos and videos on this site may not be downloaded, saved, screenshotted, copied, re-posted, edited, shared on social media, or used in any other way without the explicit written permission of Akshaya Dance Academy.
• This applies especially to images of our students, many of whom are minors. Their images are shared here only with their families' consent and only for this website.
• Commercial use of any image or video, in any form, is prohibited.
• To request permission, email sumathibhadriraaj@gmail.com with the image, how you would like to use it, and where it will appear. Permission is granted only in writing.
• Families: if you would like a photo of your child removed from this website, email us and we will remove it promptly.
• At our performances and workshops: recording or photographing students for public posting requires permission from the Academy and the student's family.

📅 Class Cancellations & Rescheduling

• To cancel or reschedule a class, please give at least 24 hours' notice by message or phone to Guru Sumathi Suryaa.
• Classes cancelled or rescheduled with 24+ hours' notice are not charged.
• Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged at the regular class fee.
• If the Academy has to cancel a class, you will not be charged and we will offer a make-up class.

🔒 Privacy

When you use our Join Us form, we receive the details you enter (such as your name, email, phone and message) by email so we can reply to you. We use them only to respond to your enquiry and to manage classes. We do not sell or share your information with anyone. Ask us at any time to delete your details.

⚠️ Disclaimers

• Physical activity: Bharatanatyam is a physically demanding dance form. Participants take part at their own risk and should consult a doctor if they have any health concerns. Parents or guardians are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions of minor students.
• Information: class times, fees and event details on this website may change; we try to keep them current, but the latest information is always what the Academy sends to families directly.
• External links: we are not responsible for the content of websites we link to.
• Makeup & henna activities: products used in workshops may cause reactions in sensitive skin; please tell us about any allergies beforehand.
